Frequently Answered Questions

Alba Yoga - Down DogCan I do Yoga?
Yoga is for every body. Alba Yoga guides you gently through each posture (Asana), from beginner to advanced allowing you to work to your own level of comfort. As with all exercise if you have recently had an operation or have an on going health problem please get doctors clearance before attending.

There will be times, even for the most practiced Yogi's, when it may be appropriate to maintain rather than advance your practice. This is the true essence of yoga; listening to your body and enjoying a safe, mindful practice. Always listen to your body and NEVER force or strain.

I have recently had a baby, can I join a class?
Yoga is excellent for your physical and psychological wellbeing in early parenthood (great for Mums and Dads). As you experience the new joys and challenges of this exciting time its important to remember to care for yourself as well as your new baby. Please get clearance from your doctor at your 6 week check, or from 8-10 weeks following a caesarean delivery.
